A Writing Exercise With No Writing

I'm reading a book called Your First Novel, by Ann Rittenberg and Laura Whitcomb and the writers suggest trying to stir and prepare your right-brain for writing by doing the following exercise:

Make a list of a hundred things you love.

It's fun to think about all the wonderful things you love...listening to the rain, a night at the cabin, hot tea with bread and butter, fresh fish, black kick ass coffee, cold Keith's, crisp white linens... so many things...
