After leaving Bloody Words, my mind is reeling with the possibilities for the future. There are so many things I want to do, the least of which are write novels, publish them and keep doing that til eternity.
I learned about e-books, how to make them and how to promote them. I could even start my own publishing company, if I wanted to. Do I want to? Maybe. Never say never.
I realized again that writers are not necessarily keen on the writing of query letters, using social media and other promotional/selling activities and yet I really enjoy that stuff. Hmm...maybe there is something I can do. I also learned about Rapid Reads --short books with very specific guidelines (i.e. no 4-syllable words or flashbacks because of tense changes) which target reluctant readers and English as a Second Language (ESL) readers around the world. So much potential, so little time.
